Today I got the glorious opportunity of watching a practice and tour the locker room of Americas Team. Now if you have never been to a practice and tour of a professional sports team, you are starting at the top when you visit valley ranch. When you walk through, there is a feeling of a powerful brand. When you get up to date coverage on the internet it's because it is live. There are reporters there all day and every day. Then, on this day, and according to some well known statistics, I got to meet some fans from Mexico. That shows how far this brand extends. The highlight of this is you meet everyone in the organization including Jerry Jones himself. Mr. Jones took 20 minutes out of his daily routine of running an empire and spoke to us personally about how strong this brand is in the fact that the cowboys just secured 400 million in financing. Now that is incredible during these times of credit scarcity to secure that large amount of money. Mr. Jones also relished in a a couple of stories of how he bought the team and the work ethic of Michael Irvin during practices. Now I dont know how often you get to see and spend time with a man running a billion dollar organization. But this is something you get when you buy seats at the ew stadium.
