Go Fish and Maserati Gran Turismo S
So last night I had two events to attend. my timing had to be perfect and it was. The first one was the grand opening of Go Fish Loungeat Noel and Alpha. Its in a new area around the Galleria Mall. I arrived at 6:05 for the event which started at 6 pm and it already had a good crowd. The place is swanky.
It has a great lounge area in the middle of the dining room thats great for mingling over cocktails. They also have an open shell oyster bar that I definitely made use of. The upstairs has a wall of windows on one side that looks out into the square where its located. the crowd was definitely different from the usual crowds in Dallas. I think you have to classify them as North Dallas. you could see some swagger in the room and also a great deal of executives. But then again the way they were mingling and huddling together they may have all been investors in this concept.Mike Hoque, the brains behind the concept showed and glad handed everyone he could. Grey Goose was pouring freely and you know anytime there's free alcohol, you will get a good crowd. This restaurant concept started in Addison and they have gotten great press, but the early arrival of the crowd, I believe that was due to the brilliant idea of partnering with Park PlaceMaserati.

People arrived for test drives starting at 5 pm. The car itself, stunning. When you hit the Start button it growls to life as if you were standing on the accelerator. So if you backed into valet, whoever is standing behind the car will definitely jump when they hear it start. They had a dark grey, not my choice and a brilliant red which is the same color as the red in the Ferrari F430.
